Day 1
Overnight Flight

Cairo, Egypt
Gather for a special welcome reception and dinner this evening.

Day 3
Cairo - Giza - Memphis - Sakkara - Cairo
This morning travel to nearby Giza to visit one of the seven ancient wonders of the world…the Pyramids of Giza. This afternoon, travel south to visit the site of ancient Memphis, with its 40-foot statue of Ramses II, and Sakkara, where you will see the oldest of all the pyramids, the Step pyramid.

Day 4
Cairo - Aswan
This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight to the delightful Nubian city of Aswan*.

Day 5
Aswan - Board Cruise Ship
This morning you may choose to take an optional excursion to the extraordinary temples of Abu Simbel**. Today, enjoy visits to the High Dam, the Granite Quarries and the ancient Philae Temple of Isis. This afternoon you sail by traditional felucca to Kitchener Island for a stroll through the botanical gardens. Then, late this afternoon, you’ll board your Nile cruise.

Day 6
Aswan - Kom Ombo
Arrive in Kom Ombo, and visit the spectacular double sanctuary which was dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god. Enjoy wonderful views of the mighty Nile from the Temple of Kom Ombo. Following lunch, sail toward Efdu this evening.

Day 7
Edfu - Luxor
Arrive in the city of Edfu this morning. Enjoy a visit to the great Temple of Horus at Edfu. Continue your cruise down the Nile with spectacular views of the Egyptian countryside as you journey toward the city of Luxor.

Day 8
Luxor - Disembark Ship - Cairo
Disembark your cruise this morning and enjoy a visit to the Temple of Karnack before returning to Cairo.

Day 9
Cairo
Spend the morning discovering the incomparable collections of the Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, including statues, reliefs, sarcophagi and the treasures of the tomb of Tutankhamen. This afternoon is yours to independently explore Cairo. Join your fellow travelers this evening for your farewell dinner.

ABOUT THE SHIP: The m/s Ti-Yi
Welcome to the m/s Ti-Yi, the Nile cruiser, named for the great wife of the Egyptian ruler Amenhotep III (1390 - 1352 BC). The m/s Ti-Yi was launched in November 2003 and is considered to be one of the finest boats on the Nile. The vessel is decorated in a classic contemporary style offering spacious interiors and a high standard of accommodation and service. Lively entertainment is offered throughout the cruise. All cabins feature panoramic windows, mini bar, music system and bathroom with walk-in shower.
