Day 4
San Francisco - Napa Valley - Lake Tahoe, Nevada
Today you travel to beautiful Napa Valley. With over 260 wineries, it is known as the most famous wine-growing region in the country. While in Napa Valley, visit a local winery and participate in a special wine tasting. Your journey then takes you over the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the resort gambling town of Lake Tahoe.

Day 5
Lake Tahoe - Virginia City - Reno - Carson City - Lake Tahoe
Travel to Virginia City, a famous old west town which recalls the heritage of the days of gold and silver mining. Stroll its historic streets and enjoy architectural buildings in the downtown district. Then, travel to Carson City and visit the Nevada State Museum and walk through a ghost town and underground mine. View eight decades of women’s attire and see the history of the Native American. Later, arrive in Reno, known as “the Biggest Little City in the World,” where the remainder of your afternoon is at leisure to explore this exciting town.

Day 6
Lake Tahoe
Today will be the highlight of your trip as you enjoy a scenic cruise on the sparkling blue waters of Lake Tahoe. This cruise offers non-stop photo opportunities as well as a visit to the most photographed area of Emerald Bay. While cruising you will learn how it was formed and some of its fascinating history including tales about Fenette Island (nicknamed “Little Rock Island”) within the bay, as well as the Vikingsholm Castle, the stone mansion on its shores. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure before joining your fellow travelers for a farewell dinner to toast a great trip.
